Citing article at Biochar Today (16-Sept-2025), review of 200 experiment results showed general conclusions that biochar can boost crop productivity by average of 15% and reduce plant disease severity by ~48%. Other positive impact by biochar are increased biomass growth, including root and surface area, as well as enhanced nutritional values in the food.
Biochar could be a pioneer for modern agriculture, especially to improve the current crop productivity at the era of degraded soil.
