Pilot Project
Our goal is to help one village and one farmer at a time by starting with just a handful of biochar. That means we will begin small. Our plan is to do the “proof of concept” by testing biochar production in one local community.
We want to start a pilot project in one location. We will give the farmer a Kon-Tiki kiln and teach them how to make biochar from their leftover crops. We will also explain the benefits of using biochar in farming.
After we make the biochar, we will apply back to the field and also try it at home with other plants to see how well it works.
We have already learned a lot about how to make biochar, and now we are confident. We believe we can show the world that we can “Dream Big and Start Small”, starting today!
